Modern processors feature a standard clock speed and an enhanced speed. They can increase performance automatically when required. Locking could only be beneficial if you're intentionally pushing performance and need consistent high speeds. However, this approach may consume more power and generate additional heat. Keeping the clock at its minimum or base level doesn't seem like an optimal strategy. What challenge are you facing?
