Recently I returned my MSI 980ti-after two months of use because it began showing artifacts. In the meantime, I’m running my older GPU, a 750ti. On Dark Souls 3, when I set everything to low, I still can’t achieve a steady 60 FPS. Is there a method to fix the frame rate at 30 so the game runs smoothly without jitter or lag?

It’s unlikely that setting a fixed frame rate of 30 will fix jitter or lag spikes, since these are related to timing issues rather than just FPS numbers.

Consider testing the issue by installing NVIDIA Inspector and applying a FPS cap.
