I’m not a 1337 h4xor, but you’re right to look for open firewalls and random data being sent. Malwarebytes can help identify unintended outbound traffic.

It’s highly improbable you’re connected to a botnet. Ensure your internet performance is normal, and Malwarebytes staying active will notify you of any unexpected outbound activity. Everything seems fine.
