Hello, do you think locking the PCI-E lever with a vertical GPU mount makes sense? The manual seems ineffective—it can move up and down. I’m not sure which position is secured or unlocked. I have an Asus Z390 gaming motherboard. I also hope the PCI-E cable fits correctly as I didn’t hear any clicks, which you should feel when installing a GPU directly into the slot. But I don’t see any protruding contacts, yet I’m not entirely confident. There’s no room to attach the cable to the board, especially when inserting the GPU and it feels impossible. Even with a larger tower, there’s still no space. We ended up having one person hold the GPU while another connected it, but there’s almost no room at all. So I’m unsure if we did it right. I tried pushing it with two thumbs after installation, but it doesn’t go further, so it seems properly connected—though I’m not sure. I’m also worried about flipping the case sometimes, which could cause the GPU to fall out and damage it when the computer starts up. I wanted to find out if a PCI-E lever would keep it secure. The manual isn’t helping, and online searches didn’t give clear answers... Thanks for your help! EDIT: now it seems similar—same type of level, upward lock is likely secured, so I put it up.
