Curious about the best placement for another SSD on the B650 EAGLE AX. It has two extra slots, one labeled as CPU lane and another as chipset lane. The manual mentions PCIe X4 and X2 connections. Would you like more details on which slot is faster?

M2P_CPU - PCIe 4.0 x2
M2C_SB - PCIe 4.0 x4/x2
Which drive do you currently have, where is it located, and which drives are you thinking of adding?
Also, what processor are you planning to install?

That's correct, I have a Ryzen 7800x3d and am considering upgrading to an SSD.
The link provided points to an ADATA XPG SX8200 NVMe SSD with 512GB, which is the one I currently use in the first drive.

If your current drive is in the M2A slot, the WD should be placed in the M2C_SB slot.
