The issue only occurs on my second monitor, not the main one. All monitors use the same models and are powered from the same wall outlet. I also have a standing or sitting desk with a motor, and whenever I leave, I often touch the metal desk leg with my foot, which causes a small shock. What could be the reason?
Likely a minor static spark. Safe unless you connect it to an electronic part. Avoid linking inductive loads to the same circuit as your computer and accessories. The second monitor might handle fluctuations slightly better, but differences can still exist even with identical models.
