I received a fresh laptop and it doesn't function properly with one of my displays. The model is an HP ZBook Fury 15 G8 running Windows 10 Professional (version 19042), equipped with an Intel i7-11850H processor, NVIDIA Quadro T1200 graphics, and a 4GB docking station. It connects to two screens: an Asus VG240Y V via the docking station and a Dell P2416D directly through HDMI. The Asus screen remains completely black yet is recognized by both Windows and Nvidia controls. There are no error messages like "check cable" or any other warnings. It appears to work with my desktop using the same cable, but only one HDMI port is available. I've also tested other displays using different DP cables, which function correctly. It seems there might be an issue with compatibility between this screen and my new laptop. Could it be that a display isn't suited for this particular configuration? I've updated the Nvidia drivers and the docking station software, but the problem persists. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
