It seems the decision isn't clear yet. However, it could be possible.

Head to your motherboard site, fetch the newest drivers (including BIOS), then visit the Nvidia page to obtain the latest GeForce Experience installer and secure the most recent GPU driver.

Upgrade your GPU drivers and avoid using motherboard video outputs with the new GPU.

I needed to check if my graphics card was the issue and verify the monitor's VGA connection.

Have you experimented with another HDMI port on the PC? Have you attempted using a different source such as an Xbox or cable TV box to pinpoint the likely reason? Have you considered using a DVI to HDMI adapter? Could adjusting the resolution in the NVIDIA Control Panel help? Would you be able to capture a screenshot of the NVIDIA control panel and Display Settings (Windows settings) and share them here? Keep your drivers updated, avoid using the Windows 10 installation drivers, and obtain your own from the NVIDIA website.

Yes, it didn't work. I don't have an alternative source. Only my graphics card and MOBO are available. It doesn't seem to help since I've already tested different ports and cables. Yes, it failed. The display settings don't provide any data. The NVIDIA control panel shows a digital display with a native resolution of 1024x768, but it's labeled as DVI - PC display. Yes, I have the newest drivers. I even tried older ones, but nothing changed.

You've already explored the option to set a custom resolution via the 'Customise...' feature in nVidia's control panel. Most systems will prompt a warning, but you can proceed without concern.

I had tried before but it didn't work. I assumed I hadn't adjusted the timing. I changed it, and it functioned properly with a 1080p resolution. After restarting, the BIOS displayed low resolution. Now Windows isn't recognizing the screen at all. I might need to reinstall the NVIDIA driver again to restore visibility.
