Hello! You're transitioning from a compact condo to a spacious house and will need Wi-Fi instead of Ethernet because the modem and router are close together. Your motherboard has two antenna inputs in the I/O port, which supports the "ASUS 2T2R dual band Wi-Fi." These came with your computer but have been lost over the past year. It seems you can't purchase them separately. You're looking for a good signal source to improve reception. Thanks!

The Wi-Fi antenna setup is quite common and you can purchase any model independently... although not every one offers identical performance. You might prefer a desktop-style antenna similar to the one you mentioned earlier.

I've been using this as a substitute for my router antenna. You can try any high-gain antenna with good reviews, but I still prefer the desktop version—it really depends on you. Replacement parts are often available on eBay too.
