i have no idea what percentage it would perform at.
i use my win 10 vm with 12 cores, 32 gb ram, own ssd and gpu.
i can't tell if it feels different from a native install.
it runs the games i want without any issues or worries.
i don't spend time testing and benchmarking, so i don't know how it compares there.
it would slow down if it's sharing a physical drive, particularly a slower spinning disk.
that's the main reason i prefer everything to run on its own physical disk.
if something is using the disk at full speed, it doesn't affect performance.
os applications are running on their own drives, so you won't even notice a disk running completely empty.
