Hello! I’m trying to lower the voltage on an old HP DV6 using an Intel I3-2330m processor. Previously, I used rmClock 2.35 with a signed RtCore64.sys, but I can’t locate it anymore (the site is down). I also can’t use XTU on a second-gen Intel chip, so I’m stuck using rmClock instead. Could someone help me find where to get the signed driver for RtCore64.sys?

@KeepCool74 Undervolting a second generation Core i CPU isn't possible. The FIVR voltage regulator wasn't added until the fourth generation. RMClock doesn't work with any Core i models. A tough situation for the Notebook Review community—things are really sad here.

I understand FIVR isn't available in the second-gen Intel chips, which is why I can't use XTU. In my past experience, I used RmClock for undervolting, but I can't run it since I don't have signed RtCore64.sys.

RMClock is designed exclusively for Core Duo or Core 2 Duo chips. It isn't available for early Core i processors since the undervolt feature wasn't implemented.

Thanks for the clarification. Before I had Intel Core Duo, perhaps I ran rmclock on the Core 2 Duo instead of the Intel i3-2330m.
