Searching for reliable scanning tools that function properly.
A few months back, I needed a printer for simple jobs such as printing resumes and scanning receipts. I picked the most affordable option from Office Depot: the HP Inkadvantage 2375. It worked fine with Windows, but not with Mac. Now I can print smoothly without many errors. However, when trying to scan with HP Smart or Image Capture, my printer fails to appear. Anyone have ideas on how to fix this or any third-party tools that could help?
HP appears to confirm full driver compatibility with Mac OS... Typically I would use the Printers & Scanners section in System Preferences. When you choose your HP printer, if all drivers are present, you’ll see print settings and a scan button. You should be able to initiate scans directly from there...
