Searching for laptop suggestions that are not for gaming, built to last, and offer long battery life.
Hi everyone!
I’m looking for a new laptop and need some guidance. I thought about OLED models first, but because I’ll be handling many static images (like presentations), I’m avoiding them to prevent burn-in.
I expect to use this device for 3 to 4 years, so reliability is key. My main tasks will be office software—Excel, Word, PowerPoint—and watching movies; no gaming planned. Long sessions are expected, so at least an 8-hour battery life would be ideal.
I lean toward Windows systems since I’m more comfortable with them. Storage capacity isn’t a big issue, as I plan to upgrade later if necessary.
One model I’ve looked into is the Acer Aspire 3 (NX.KDRED.006), priced around $370 locally. It looks affordable, but I’m concerned about its resolution. I’m open to other suggestions or advice.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I’m feeling a bit uncertain right now.
Thanks!
