Last night I looked for the W10 driver for my notebook with an old 2670QM CPU, but it wasn’t available and it doesn’t seem supported by W10. After about three hours, I found a driver at the provided link. I moved from the Device Manager to update drivers, then searched online and installed the AMD driver. Now I’m trying to locate the Intel HD 3000 driver in the Intel folder—any tips would be helpful.

Ensure the driver is updated via Windows Update. Then execute the update process. If issues persist, locate the device in Device Manager and initiate automatic driver search.

The update didn’t locate the driver. Your device manager now appears as shown, and on Windows 7 you’re seeing Intel HD Graphics plus a 6700M display adapter. The Intel HD graphics driver seems missing, even though Windows 10 should have installed it automatically.

Many seasoned drivers continue to be productive. Windows 10 functions similarly to 8.1 in terms of performance.

The issue might relate to how dual-GPU setups function on laptops, possibly causing driver conflicts.

For installing W8 drivers, you should use W10 support instead.
