Searching for games comparable to Age of Empires II and Supreme Commander?
Hello,
I enjoy playing Age of Empires II and Supreme Commander a lot. I have many hours in both and find them great RTS games. Could you suggest some similar PC titles? I’m looking for something new but not necessarily the latest releases. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Always the Command & Conquer line. Warcraft/Starcraft versions that are a bit simpler than large-scale battles or top-down command games. Warhammer and Warhammer 40k were the original licenses intended for these titles. The Company of Heroes series feels more like a war strategy RTS. I enjoy Sins of a Solar Empire because it has many expansions and there are mods available that add content or even full conversions, like Star Trek or games such as Eve Online. Stellaris is similar but I haven't played it yet.
I'm all in for the Command & Conquer series and my preferred RTS game, which is the Warhammer 40k Dawn of War lineup. Dark Crusade and Soulstorm offer a lot of single-player campaign time with seven different races, each with its own story as you progress. All these games are really good. The DOW 2 and 3 versions aren't great, but the original series is worth it and you can usually find all of them in a pack on Steam for under $10 during sales. The C&C collection is around $5 or cheaper at some places.
I think they’ve got an age of empires 4.
