Hello everyone. I had a damaged CPU socket on my B450 Max and now need a new motherboard. The CPU is still in great shape. I’m looking for one that fully matches my Ryzen 5 2600, and right now I’m not interested in upgrading the CPU or RAM. Some boards I checked didn’t seem compatible with my RAM sticks. My current setup includes: RX 570 4GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4-3200MHz (CMK16GX4M2E3200C16), a RM750x PSU, a Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, and a K508 cooler with two HDDs plus one SSD. Thanks!
Even if it's not listed on the QVL, Corsair Vengeance works well with most Ryzen boards. Are you checking out new or used? Nearly any MSI B450 MAX boards make excellent choices and you should be able to find many listings on eBay. my memory model cmk16gx4m2e3200c16 isn't showing up on the b450 tomahawk max compatibility list. with the xmp profile no2 it should run at 3200mhz, but it's not listed anywhere. will i still get that speed? check the pangoly page you shared for more details.
