I visited Memory Express in Victoria, BC, and bought some PC components. I needed a fast processor because I play Second Life with OpenGL, which relies on a single core for maximum speed. The seller gave me an Intel i5 13600 that’s unlocked and a B660I AORUS PRO DDR4 RAM. After assembling it, I discovered I can’t clock the CPU to 5 GHz using the auto tune tool for Intel. This made me realize I’m being sold an unlocked chip with a locked motherboard—just frustrating. Now I need a MINI ITX board that allows overclocking to reach new performance levels. Here are some suggestions below.

PCPartPicker offers various choices, but remember you'll need to lower the CPU temperature as well. Which cooler are you considering?

I don’t understand the reason for using an i9x system for overclocking. Assuming cooling is available, I can help with that. You mentioned the Z690i Aorus Ultra (DDR4)—let me know if you need further details!
