Posted Wednesday at 02:00 PM • Original Poster my friend needed a RAM upgrade and wanted to know if I could find one suitable for his system. His PC cost about $900. He upgraded the GPU to a GTX 1060 with 6GB and added an extra 8GB RAM stick. The issue was the RAM wasn’t compatible with his existing setup. I searched for a RAM module matching his motherboard’s specifications and discovered his motherboard supports up to 3400MHz. I was aiming for a 3200MHz RAM to ensure smooth CPU upgrades, but I’m not very experienced with PC builds and asked for advice. RAM: CMK16GX4M2B3200C16, Vengeance LPX, XMP MOBO: h170 pro gaming (ASUS) QVL: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H170-P...lpDesk_QVL would appreciate your guidance beforehand.

It seems the response is repeating a previous answer format. Are you looking for a different version or clarification?
