Looking for a reliable 250-300 dollar X670-e motherboard that fits your needs without exceeding that budget.

I wouldn't choose ASUS because of their latest issues. Edited May 20, 2024 by filpo

The guarantee isn't great, but the items themselves aren't bad either.

The items perform well, but their history doesn’t justify choosing them over other options.

I’d pick either MSI or Gigabyte for a solid board ATM. ASRock is also worth considering. Back when MSI dominated in AM3/AM3+, they’ve improved quite a bit. Gigabyte remains reliable and still offers good options, though ASRock isn’t the best overall choice anymore. I used to rely on Asus, but they’ve fallen behind compared to the other brands. If you’re thinking about a specific model, check it out carefully—compare it with others and look into any known issues.

Wait for one of my boards to fail before he joins that train, haha. To be honest, that's why I purchase their boards—they just stop working. It's disappointing to learn it's not like this anymore today.
