I own several units with varying sizes, but I won’t include them in the raid. I have four identical units, which together represent the maximum the raid card supports, so there should be no issues.

This board isn't bad at all. You can get similar ones for 40€ to 60€ even with CPUs, and adding RAM brings it down to about 40-50€, which fits your needs perfectly.
