Searching for a MOBO
You're facing some tough decisions with your build. After checking many sources, I'm still unsure if you're on the best route. Your Ryzen 5 3600 works well, but the ASUS AM4 TUF X570 seems risky because of the added chipset fan. That extra noise might be manageable, but it could also interfere with airflow or other components.
You're aiming for a RTX 2070 Super, ideally around $500, and you want to avoid space problems. Some boards you've seen have tight designs that even standard coolers struggle with. If you're open to alternatives, a 470 might be a better fit. It won't have built-in Wi-Fi, but you could easily add a PCIe Wi-Fi card if needed. What do you think?
The TUF offers a sturdy build, yet the Tomahawk MAX provides similar performance at a lower price, and you might secure a 2080 model with that budget.
You mentioned a B450 GPU clearance and wondered if it wouldn't work with the 3rd generation Ryzen.
It's quite an old 1060 with only 3GB of storage. I purchased it for around 5£ during a clearance sale and had to put it on hold while I upgraded my PC.
