I've been exploring slower-paced grinding experiences with a bit of community support and some helpful resources. Looking for games similar to Voyage Century O. or Bounty Bay O. that offer depth without the latest trends. I'm not chasing the newest releases since my favorite game was released back in 2005. My attempts have been limited—playing Last Chaos again didn't work because of boxy settings and a lack of guidance, and the Discord server I checked didn’t provide any useful info. I’m hoping you can point me in the right direction or suggest other titles that fit this style.

It seems like you're referencing a common observation about the game's age compared to forum members. The statement highlights how the game's longevity might affect perceptions among newer participants.

I could be labeled as mentally challenged, but when I imagine a high-speed MMORPG I think of Tom Clancy's The Division series. That would be my suggestion.

I've tried Wrath of the Lich King with a slow grinding approach, but the usual servers felt a bit dull and the "fun" ones didn't improve much after a week. Two main points: 1) The daily limits and the sense of purpose are problematic—spending days just to beat someone with a big PayPal balance feels unfair. 2) I don’t enjoy the combat style, especially the FPS elements and evasion tactics seen in games like Origins. I’m still evaluating it but it doesn’t really excite me.

IMHO
1. The challenge will be significant. Even classic MMORPGs without loot boxes can still make rare items sell for real money. You’d likely want to play games that demand genuine skill, often older titles.
2. You were asking about evasion tactics. For example, in WoW you need to dodge by moving in certain ways or jumping over obstacles. Other similar games might lack jumping but still require avoiding attacks by shifting position. At the minimum, it’s important to steer clear of damage from specific attacks.
