I remember a DOS game with a style similar to Bombuzal, but without the bomb motifs. It seemed like a land-based puzzle game where you navigated and collected items to progress, possibly featuring multiple areas or characters like Bombuzal. There might have been more than one character usable in certain levels. I only played a shareware version during my early childhood. Someone helping would be greatly appreciated!

Check Bomb Blast first at the official site. If not, try Dyna Blaster also known as Bomberman. More details are available on the abandoned games page.

I meant to specify that the game I recall didn't feature bombs throughout, or perhaps only a few were used to clear obstacles in puzzles. It's hard to recall the exact elements collected. Its visual style and look were quite alike to Bombastic—green islands by water with a blue monster character, shown in an isometric or top-down perspective.
