Here are some alternative options you might consider:

- A newer Ryzen 7 7800X3D for better performance and future-proofing.
- An Intel Core i7-13700K or similar high-end CPU to handle demanding VR and creative software.
- A dedicated GPU like the RTX 4070 or similar to boost gaming and rendering capabilities.
- Upgrading to a more powerful motherboard with better VRM and cooling solutions.
- Investing in a solid-state drive (SSD) upgrade for faster boot times and loading speeds.
- Considering a workstation build with more RAM and a faster processor for smoother multitasking.

Only focus on gaming and you don’t want to switch platforms, then you’re limited to 5600X3D/5700X3D/5800X3D... anything else doesn’t make sense. For Blender, expect to keep using GPU rendering since you have an RTX 3090, CPU will only be important for a few simulations. In the viewport you’ll still have enough performance as long as your RAM is sufficient.
