RDR2 won't deliver high FPS either way. COD could, but the 8700k shouldn't cause issues at 144fps. CB2077 is expected to be heavily dependent on the GPU, particularly with ray tracing enabled. DLSS should assist in maintaining a smoother frame rate. Give it a try and check if it meets your needs.

I wouldn't have matched an 8700 with 2400mhz RAM or a B360/w/e, since you can still use quicker memory and adjust power settings on a Z board. If you plan to purchase new RAM, consider buying all three and either keep the 8700/2400mhz/b360 as its own system or sell it separately instead of splitting it up.

It's nearly impossible to get a hold of a 5600x so i just thought that i might as well hold off on it until it's in stock.
