You're weighing your options between Intel and AMD CPUs. For gaming, both can perform well, but AMD often offers better performance per dollar and newer architectures. If streaming is a priority, consider CPU power for multitasking and rendering, while gaming focuses on frame rates. Your choice should match your budget and long-term needs.

Currently, Intel is the preferable option. An I5 10400 would perform well.

Well, both AMD and Intel are reputable companies. In my country, the 11th generation Intel is more affordable than AMD for streaming. However, I recommend the i5-11600KF for that purpose because it supports PCIe 4.0 and runs at 3.9GHz with six cores. Its price is around $220. You’ll need a separate graphics card if you plan to use one. If not, the i5-11600K is a solid choice with UHD750 support. The processor is fast and has a 1200 socket. It offers 12 threads. You can also opt for an i7 if you prefer eight cores, which would handle more tasks simultaneously. For beginners, I suggest skipping watercooling; a basic cooler is sufficient. If the first time you build your PC, it’s wise to avoid overclocking—one failure could damage everything. A normal cooler is fine, and my i5 reaches about 35°C during regular tasks and 60°C during gaming. Key points: 1) it consumes more power than AMD, 2) the GPU is strong, 3) it supports turbo boost up to 4.9GHz, and 4) it’s overclockable and unlocked. Ultimately, choose based on your needs, but I’m just sharing some tips to help you succeed in setting up your first PC!

Discrete graphics refer to visual elements that are distinct and separate, rather than continuous or smooth.

Beyond budget builds and budget CPUs, the AMD 5600x and especially the 5900x stand out as top choices for gaming and streaming. However, these models typically need a dedicated GPU, which is nearly impossible to find at reasonable prices. In contrast, Intel remains widely available and affordable, making it a practical option if you can't locate AMD at a good price. The situation shifts depending on availability, and timing matters—what works now might not be the same in six months.

I combined your two threads successfully. Ensure you don’t repeat the same thread multiple times.

I’ll purchase components once they’re available and again when prices are favorable, which means I’m not too concerned about waiting a year before having everything I need. My focus will be on clearly defining exactly what I require.
