I attended several Meraki webinars with my former employer and received access to multiple devices including a switch, firewall, and router. I appreciate the performance and remote management capabilities of their solutions. However, my three-year trial is nearing its end, and the enterprise licensing for extensions isn’t financially feasible. Therefore, I’m seeking a suitable alternative. I want to upgrade to a comparable setup offering remote management without annual license costs. What options exist, and what would be required to implement them? I’ve explored Ubiquiti but have limited knowledge of their systems and configurations.

In general, UniFi seems like the top choice for a smooth shift to a comparable setup. While I haven’t tried any of it myself, I notice many positive discussions around it. Just keep an eye on a few firewalls or gateways that might cause storage problems. The rest of what I’ve seen looks promising. Also, it appears the UniFi environment supports remote management through a unified dashboard—though I’m not sure if that’s fully clear from my search, others who use it more likely have more details.

You're looking for clearer guidance on setting up your network. Many online resources are unclear, so it would help to get more specific advice from the community. Let me know if you'd like tips on hardware or step-by-step instructions!
