Hello, I own a HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop as displayed here https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BV4...UTF8&psc=1 with an i5-8400. I purchased this in 2018 when I started gaming and didn’t expect building my own PC would be more cost-effective or better than what I found. Recently, I bought an i7-9700k assuming it would work because it matches the LGA 1151 socket, but spent seven hours troubleshooting on a Frozen HP logo screen until I discovered my motherboard is faulty. I don’t want to exchange the i7-9700k since I got a good price on it, and I also purchased a 500GB SSD. Over the past two days I’ve been trying to figure out which motherboard would fit in my existing case while supporting my current components without needing additional parts. I have 24GB of DDR4 RAM, a GTX 1060 with 3GB, and require two M.2 slots for both the new SSD and an existing 256GB SSD. I would really appreciate any recommendations on suitable motherboards that fit my case without extra purchases, especially since I’m on a tight budget. Thank you in advance.
