You've just installed the new mobile 5G internet in your home. It's been really helpful compared to the slower ATT plan you had nearby. Since the router only has two Ethernet ports, you're planning to add a network switch. It has a USB-C power port that you'd like to use for the switch, so you're searching for a switch with at least five Ethernet connections, gigabit speed, and the ability to run on 5V power (which means you might need a cable adapter).

This product fits perfectly as a standard unmanaged switch right away. With the Unifi controller installed, you can set up VLANs and other features. Remember to keep a backup of the controller software in your preferred backup location.
