Hey there, I'm trying to locate this information and it's getting tricky. I thought the kit was available and already purchased the system. The CPU doesn't support ECC memory, so I need 2 x 64 GB 2666 DDR4 RAM without ECC. Could anyone help me find it? If not, I'd appreciate it. I've already placed the order, but if it's not possible, I should cancel it quickly. The motherboard only has two DIMM slots and the link mentions a maximum of 2 memory channels. What does that actually mean? Thanks!

Only two dimming slots available; the motherboard may not handle more than 32GB of RAM.

You require 128GB of RAM to ensure smooth performance. The ideal setup would be double that, at 64GB each.

I haven't encountered modules exceeding 32GB regularly. For 128GB you'd likely need a motherboard with four RAM slots. Dual channel means the number of logical connections the CPU can use. You could have four slots set up in dual channel mode.

Hey everyone, I discovered the motherboard has four slots. That’s good news! I was worried, but now I can use 4 x 32 at 2666 DD4. I have some questions though—what’s the top choice for 4 x 32 @ 2666 DDR4? Thanks!

You'd have fared much better with a more powerful processor, since you only have 8 cores and 16 threads, which isn't very many.

Also, regarding this CPU: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...0-ghz.html The maximum memory speed is DDR4-2666, right? Is it possible to overclock the RAM? Thanks!

I would recommend picking the best CPU available at the time, which turned out to be an excellent choice for building a desktop.
