Hello, I'm checking if those Windows 7/8/8.1 activation keys can still be used for Windows 10. Also, are services like Kinguin or buymicrosoftkeys reliable?

For a budget-friendly or free Windows version, simply avoid enabling the activation feature. Since the upgrade process may be complete, you might still find alternatives such as using accessibility options.

I found many questions about that issue. Need a fresh setup for Windows 10?

Avoid getting too close to Kinguin. I’m not familiar with buymicrosoftkeys. However, you can check this link: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/mi...ense-keys/

On Reddit you can find ways to obtain a Windows 10 key at a similar cost to older versions. Alternatively, avoid grey market options and try the link provided by HowToGeek for free alternatives.

Buy only keys or retail USBs/DVDs from approved sellers. If you're uncertain, request documentation confirming they are authorized. Generally, retail Windows 7/8/8.1 keys can be used for the Windows 10 Creators update.
