I recently assembled a PC and required a Wi-Fi adapter since we rely on a hotspot instead of a traditional modem. My brother had a dual-band wireless device, but he stopped using it. I connected it and used the disk for the driver. After that, whenever I disconnect from Wi-Fi or unplug the device or restart my computer, I encounter a blue screen indicating driver conflicts. I looked up the issue and found many similar reports. I downloaded the driver from a website, but it doesn’t include the .exe file I’m used to. Now I’m unsure how to resolve this other than purchasing a new one.
