I previously reduced the voltage on my Dell-Inspiron 15-7579, and it worked perfectly.
However, after updating the BIOS, undervolting stopped functioning.
The laptop's CPU is now throttling. It seems a BIOS version of 1.27 or earlier is needed to restore it.
Any advice?

You've discovered that executing EXE files is possible within DOS without needing .rcv files!
