Hi! You can try accessing your saved password through the phone’s settings or account recovery options. Since the network is password-protected, look for a section labeled “Password,” “Security,” or “Account Recovery.” If you’ve set up any backup codes or recovery options, those might also help you retrieve the password.

Use the Wi-Fi router connected to your phone. If it prevents visibility, change the password. On your Android device, tap the Wi-Fi settings and look for a "Share" option, which displays a QR code for scanning on your new phone.

I don’t have access to the router. I’m assisting a neighbor who’s elderly, and her grandson originally set up her IT systems about ten years ago. He moved away, so I’ve been helping him. I’m not sure if resetting everything would be the best option. There are some special configurations I’m not familiar with, and I’m worried I might not get everything working again if I change the password. For her Wi-Fi only needs, I’ve had trouble setting it up on a new network and I’m really unsure how to do it properly.

Android devices often let you share Wi-Fi passwords using a QR code by opening the network settings of the connected network. Creating or scanning the code will display the password.

I mentioned that based on your Android version, you might be able to connect to the Wi-Fi using a QR code. If that isn’t available, you won’t have router access, and your neighbor also can’t provide it, so we can’t assist further.
