Hi, I see you're having trouble connecting your Linksys EA6320 v3 to the 5GHz network. You mentioned using 802.11ac with an 80MHz channel width, but devices like the Oculus Quest 2, Oneplus 7, and a random Acer laptop can't connect even after entering the password. The router detects the signal but refuses to establish a connection, and the Wi-Fi indicator stays off even when tapping or scanning. You can connect on 40MHz, but the speed is much lower than expected (around 192 Mbps), and you're expecting higher speeds for 802.11ac. You've tried changing channels, adjusting settings, disabling 2.4GHz, resetting the router, and even flashing the firmware, but nothing seems to work. This suggests either a possible device compatibility issue or a firmware bug. I’d recommend checking with Linksys support for firmware updates or confirming if your device model is supported on 802.11ac. Let me know what you find!
Unfortunately, using auto mode with just the 802.11ac feature causes connection problems. It only works with 40MHz and 20MHz, while 80MHz doesn’t connect at all.
Can't locate this model number. Confirm it isn't the EA6350? When you enable 80MHz, the AP limits itself to a single 80MHz channel at the end of the 5GHz band. What other WiFi configurations are active? On one of your connected devices, select "Forgot SSID" and attempt to reconnect as a fresh network.
