You saw Digital Storm's 4K Halo for the new Alpha in Russia on YouTube. What are your thoughts—are everyone prepared?
It's free to play, but I don't want to. The project seems to be built using the Halo 3 engine, which is great since I really enjoyed that game. I wouldn't want to support something that might require payment to play.
I think this whole Russia thing is just an experiment. I doubt we'll see an actual halo game on pc anytime soon. I don't see why they don't just do a remake or port all of the games to pc. They would make so much money.
It looks like they might be focusing on selling armor and skins rather than weapons.
there are already players from other countries involved, so you probably don’t need one! There are plenty of YouTube videos made by non-Russians too. I personally dislike Halo MultiLayer. I only played all the Halo games just because I wanted to reminisce about them when I was a teenager on Xbox. I don’t really enjoy realistic shooters. I prefer being able to take down enemies in one or two shots.
