You installed the Tor package with apt-get install tor -y, which sets up the Tor service. Then you were asked to download the Tor Browser itself. The first step was configuring your system for Tor, while the second step was installing and launching the browser application.

You're asking about installing the Tor browser using apt-get. It seems you're trying to confirm whether the package name matches expectations. If the available version isn't exactly "tor," you might need to adjust your search or check the repository. How familiar are you with Linux package management?

I'm just beginning to understand how to become a top-tier black hacker and steal large sums of money. What he did was different from what I installed, and I followed his instructions to download the Tor browser, then opened it. He showed me a video and then launched it from the file I downloaded.

Sure, typing "tor" in the terminal should launch the Tor browser. If it doesn't appear, running "apt-get install tor" won't install the browser directly. Once installed, no further steps are needed.

Sure, it seems 'tor' isn't the browser itself but acts as its driver. You'll need to install the browser as shown in the video. After typing 'tor' in the terminal, press Ctrl+C to exit.

You can ask for details about the driver installation and understand why the commands differ.

I’m comfortable with Linux and rely on it regularly. Tor is something I’ve never tried before, so without going through the steps it’s tough to confirm. Likely, the Tor browser will use the program you installed via the command line to link with the Tor network. Without the Tor app, I suspect the browser wouldn’t function correctly (can’t connect to the network). Overall, my prediction should be fairly reliable.

Thanks mate, another query coming up. You're using dynamic chain and added socks5, followed by activating Tor services. The issue is that your DNS IP changes depending on whether the Tor service is running or not, which affects your results. Try using a fixed IP or adjusting your DNS settings to see if it stabilizes.

No problem. I can only assist with the information provided. I don’t have details about the video or your goals. - I’ve never used Tor Browser before, so I’m unsure what you need to set it up. I’ll go to bed soon, but if you share the video link, I might review it tomorrow. Could you explain what “dns ip” means? Are you asking about your public IP address on Google?
