Hello. I'm searching for compatible Intel Xeon Phi 7290 CPUs motherboards. The site lists only ASRock TR-KNL support, but I can't find the board I need. The cheapest option on eBay is around 1900 euros for a whole box, which exceeds my budget. Do you know if there are other affordable boards under 500 euros that support this CPU?

It seems unlikely there would have been numerous commercial boards for these, as they would likely have all been replaced by fully custom-built server systems. Additionally, you won't be using any standard operating system or software on it.

Do you own a CPU or intend to purchase one? Depending on your tasks, a Xeon Platinum or Xeon Gold would be more suitable. For highly parallel workloads, switching to GPU compute would be preferable over alternatives like the Phi 7290.

I possess a CPU, so I aim to create a functional demo. You'll need a motherboard first. This one might work: https://www.newegg.com/global/uk-en/asro...6813140009

Check listings on eBay for compatible motherboards. Look for models that explicitly mention supporting the specific CPU you have.
