I own an Eero 6 Pro that I really like, but I faced some problems one day and reached out to support. They showed me my Wi-Fi password and the connected devices on their side, which made me want to switch. Recently it seems most routers need an app to work. Anyone have recommendations for good Wi-Fi 6/7 routers suited to a 1300 sq ft home with many smart devices?

Whether a router includes an app isn't the main factor affecting a manufacturing firm's visibility into your network data. What matters more is understanding what access they have to traffic within your system. You shouldn't worry about them knowing your WiFi password; rather, having insight means knowing all network activity. Routers inherently connect to the internet, and the key distinction lies in how each company views or interacts with your network. Full review of their privacy policy is the only way to grasp this. Even though Amazon is a large company, as a US entity it must adhere to local regulations, offering some reassurance.
