I've had some trouble with my PC lately. The motherboard was glowing white, so I swapped out the GPU, which cleared that issue. After turning it on, I noticed strange screens appearing—sometimes it wouldn't show the screen at all and would just launch Windows. I've updated both my BIOS and operating system, so those shouldn't be the cause. I've installed CUPID, HWiNFO and OCCT to check for hardware problems, but everything looks normal. I'm trying to figure out what might be triggering these diagnostic messages and whether there are tools that can analyze the OS, system settings or motherboard health. I'm not sure if my question makes sense or if I'm conveying it clearly.
The issue is understandable if there are missing details about timing or frequency. It might stem from various causes—don’t hesitate to reset the CMOS, apply default settings if prompted, and observe if the problem resolves.
The fix on the GPU resolved the issue, but the diagnostic message still showed up 3–4 times when turning off and on the PC. I reset the CMOS, yet it hasn’t appeared again. The CMOS battery also needed replacing, so I swapped it out. Thanks for your help! It really made a difference!
