Target LGA 1151 processors from the Core 6000 or 7000 lineup. Monitor the secondary market for a decent Core i5 if you're looking to upgrade significantly.

Which games are you running? Have you checked your CPU and GPU performance during gameplay to ensure the CPU isn’t overheating? 24GB of RAM? That’s quite a lot!

On eBay you can find an I5 6600K for 100 euros, though it's a used item.

The CPU tends to run at its maximum during gameplay in Garry's Mod with mods, or when running Rust at lower settings. I’m aware I may have purchased more than needed.

It's pointless to run at 6600K if overclocking isn't possible on the H110 board. Probably the non-K model would cost less.

Given your budget, instead of investing in a full new build, I’d opt for a reasonably priced 6000 or 7000 series (non-K) i5 processor along with a decent-sized SSD. You could install Windows and a few of your most-used games and apps there. Having the operating system on the SSD will greatly improve responsiveness and make your PC feel more up-to-date.
