A suitable, budget-friendly mATX motherboard around 150 euros would be a decent option for your CPU. There isn’t a significantly better Intel CPU within that price range, but you might consider checking for older or less common models if you’re flexible.

Uncertain about the cost of 10700k. The 10900k might be worthwhile based on your needs. The $150 annual gap over five years seems minor. If you can handle 10/20, it’s worth considering.

I noticed that one but it costs a bit more and isn't much quicker. It wouldn't fit my budget since 150 (or less) is already enough for a motherboard. I plan to go with the 10700K for gaming with my 3070, which should be a big upgrade compared to my current 3600. I already have a 1060, RAM, and PSU ready for the next build.

It seems the 10700k is likely your top choice among Intel CPUs. I wouldn't exceed it by much compared to the 3600, since that's also a solid option. Adding the 10700k and 3070 creates a really good setup.
