Firefox operates independently from Chrome, employing its distinct engine—Gecko—resulting in a unique appearance. Brave shares the same engine as Chrome but still displays a different look.

Unless something has changed, uBlock Origin for ad blocking on YouTube only fully works on Firefox. Google changed how extensions work to basically kill ad blockers. uBlock Origin is available even on the mobile version of Firefox and it does work. I've never run it on a Chromebook, but it's fine for me on both Linux and Android across multiple devices, so should work in theory.
