It helps generate a VHD file using Disk2VHD from Microsoft Sysinternals. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint...s/disk2vhd This lets you produce a VHD for your PC and then load it into VirtualBox.

Long ago, I relied on Disk2Vhd to transform a disk into an image and successfully booted it in Hyper-V. Back then, there could have been a more efficient method available.
