During installation of a flawless killer on a project, the fasteners broke halfway through this B650 Tomahawk. What solutions are available?
They were extremely rigid from the factory. Almost too much. It was his debut, and mine was my first experience with a contemporary design.
Display an image of the rear area. It may need to be removed gently, which could require swapping out the bracket. A simple screw puller might be an option.
Drilling from the back should fix the issue with the backplate. The Thermal Grizzly AMD AM5 M4 Backplate might be replaced. You can also contact the motherboard maker to report the problem and request a replacement.
Their return policy is tough to resist. It’s unclear if this falls under a manufacturer’s issue, so check Amazon’s customer service for guidance. If they advise returning the item, that would likely be your best move.
