Hello! I just bought a new computer about a month ago, and things worked fine until two weeks ago. Suddenly my screen went black and the fans started spinning really loud while I was trying to use it or play games. After turning it off manually, it works again. It's happened more often lately, even when just sitting there idle or when gaming. I checked all the power cables and tried a fresh install of the latest graphics card driver. My heat levels don't seem high at all based on my experience.

Here is what my setup looks like:
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800 X3D
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce 5070 MB
RAM: MSI Pro B850-P Wifi
Memory: G. Skill Trident Z5 32Gb DDR5 6000MHz
Power Supply: Corsair RM750x
Storage: Western Digital SN850X NVMe 2TB
Cooling: Thermalright PS120SE Air Cooler

I'm pretty new at figuring out computer problems, but looking at the Windows Event Viewer, I keep seeing a recurring "Critical" error. It says something like "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first." This kind of error can happen if the machine stops working, crashes, or loses power unexpectedly. The specific details are Event ID 41 with Kernel-Power as the source.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Thanks for your message. My CPU is at about 40 degrees Celsius while my GPU sits at 37 degrees. With HWinfo open during games, my CPU stays below 60 and the GPU drops under 50. Since I reseated both my graphics card and memory when I last posted here, nothing has happened yet; it's too soon to say for sure. Let me know if this comes back up! Thanks again!

What age is your power supply? Is it fresh?

Thanks for getting back to me! I got that brand-new power supply straight from Corsair very recently.
