Screen turns black unexpectedly, even when under stress or during login.
I noticed that when my GPU is under stress, the display suddenly turns off and stays off until I power off the computer. Even though all the lights and fans were still active, the screen would go black unexpectedly. This morning, while using the PC normally, it also displayed a sudden black screen during web browsing. I've checked every driver, reinstalled Windows, reset the BIOS, reconnected cables and components. I also tried replacing the GPU with another model (RX580) which worked for some time before failing again like my original card (RX7600). Could this be related to a power supply issue? Thanks! P.S. I really need the system to function quickly since I have several rendering projects pending. Specs (all stock except RAM, unless noted – everything fits in my older setup from 2017): Ryzen 7 5700X (new), ROG Crosshair VIII Impact (latest bios), G Skill Trident Z Royal Silver 3600MHz CL16 2x8GB Sapphire Pulse, RX 7600 (new) / Sapphire RX580 (original/swapped for testing), Enermax Platimax 1050W PSU, ROG Z11 case.
Stop the system and observe the black screen. Restart it and examine the Event Viewer to look for any hints.
