The GPU was swapped out for an RTX 5080 and it fixed the problem. No crashes have occurred since. Appreciate your support!

Hello everyone, I came here seeking a fix but now wish to share my thoughts or guess. It might be related to the drivers. I encountered the same issue and found the solution by focusing on psi or GPU settings. Finally, the drivers were the culprit! The latest hotfix 576.15 resolved the black screen issue, causing it to flicker. Before you rush to sell your GPU for a quick profit, give it another try. Best wishes, Addy

Hi Addy, the only thing I noticed in the changelogs is a resolution to a blank screen problem during Multiplane Overlay operations, which seems specific to Windows 10. I'm not sure if that applies to me. On the other hand, since I've experienced crashes on both Linux and Windows with the old GPU—whether or not drivers were used—I don't think it's a big issue for me. Still, I'm glad you discovered a fix! I donated my old GPU to a local repair shop that helps kids in need. They might get a good deal if they can fix it. Let me know if I hear back about it.

It seems you overlooked the section without drivers. Your approach looks promising, and I’m sure they’ll address it!
