Hey everyone, when your monitor turns black but your PC stays powered, it’s worth checking RAM and storage. Try clearing RAM and formatting drives if you remove them. Also, see if other components show error codes. Your GPU might be failing—look for signs like overheating or unusual noises. If the issue persists, consider a hardware test.

You might want to share your PC details such as CPU, RAM, motherboard, GPU, and power supply. Review The Windows Event Viewer under Windows Logs > System for any entries about a crashed or recovered GPU driver. Check if HWinfo is installed and report CPU and GPU temperatures during stress tests. A hotspot analysis could help identify performance issues. A fresh Windows installation can often resolve software-related problems, but if the issue continues it likely points to hardware faults. Let us know your findings.

My configuration includes an i7 11700k, RTX 3080, 32GB RAM at 3200MHz, an MSI Z590 Pro with Wi-Fi, and an 800-plip Gold PSU. For temperatures, it won’t even let me start Furmar 1440p before crashing, possibly due to GPU issues. I adjusted the launch settings and now see GPU temps around 68°C, hotspot at 78°C, while CPU stays at 66°C.

Check the scroll for any typos. Reset the log if needed and restart the system. Open Furmark and let it crash. Launch Event Viewer to view the logs starting after the clear.
