Hello, I've noticed a recurring issue with blue screening during Destiny 2, FFXIV, and Unity titles like Valheim. Eventually, I had to restart my system by reinstalling the OS and drivers, resetting the UEFI settings. Now, regardless of the game I play, it fails to load and the screen goes black. It seems to work normally outside gaming, but once I start playing, everything stops. My hardware setup includes Win11, an I9-9900KF CPU, a 2x 2080ti SLI GPU, two 2080ti monitors, an EVGA 1200W PSU, Corsair Vengeance 16GB RAM, and an Enmotus 1.4GB NVMe SSD, all custom water-cooled. I’m certain the problem appears at temperatures below 70°C. I suspect overheating, but I’m unsure if it’s a GPU failure or a power issue. I’m at my limit and hoping for assistance. Thank you.

SLI functionality could have been deleted from the BIOS settings. Windows 11 might not handle it either. Consider removing a single GPU and turning off SLI.

It worked well with the dual 1070's I had in SLI. One of my cards was gradually deteriorating, so splitting them onto different systems (my wife's computer) helped but the other card still had problems. It runs smoothly in lower resolution games like Age of Empires 2 and World of Tanks. However, running graphics-heavy games such as ARK would cause the same black screen issues. I never fixed it and eventually upgraded to a system with a 3070TI.

They're inside a custom water loop. That's why I haven't been able to test yet. After completing all the work, I'll update. Appreciate it!

Oofta resembles a tailored watercooling arrangement. It might complicate troubleshooting, but it’s not too bad if you’re not switching everything to a single GPU. If you’re already putting in the effort, SLI configurations usually keep the top card active for smoother performance. Once you take out the bottom card, if the issue continues, replace it with the other one and test again. The bottom card should feel less burdened than the top one.

So it functioned initially but then stopped working completely. I quickly switched to the bottom card and pulled out the top, which helped for a short time. After that, the screen went dark again when I opened Valheim, and it didn’t return even after a while. Now the situation gets more complicated. It’s an Odyssey G9, and it seems Windows isn’t recognizing it properly—either as a Samsung display or not at all. I tried using a TV I had nearby, and it seems to be working fine, but the monitor still isn’t detecting correctly. It displays something like “ED-40.” I don’t have access to it right now. I’m attempting an update using the Samsung file and running further tests. Thank you for your support so far.

I managed to refresh the Nvidia drivers and it recognized the monitor. I attempted to play games but now it's cycling through the same options and causes the screen to go black except for the single card. I'm planning to replace the other card, but it hasn't resolved the issue yet.
